The title can be a

word or short phrase. The teaser is limited to 255 characters, so you will need to keep the blurb brief.

  • Upload an Image

The image size must be 1200px x 450px. There should be room on either side of the image for text and the scroll arrows200px x 100px. The size can be no larger than 256 mb and must be in .png, .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg format.

  • Add a Teaser, which should be a quick blurb that gets users interested in clicking on the linkUnder Link, add a Title and your URL

The URL can be internal or external, depending on what is needed, but there should only be one link listed per featurepromo. An example of an external link would be using Find a Class when you promote registration for an upcoming term.

  • If necessary, set Set the Display Date, which controls when the feature will display on the homepage

If you would like the promo to appear indefinitely, set the second date to well into the future. Otherwise, you can set the end date as needed and the promo will no longer appear on the homepage after that date.

  • The Weight dictates the order your feature promo will appear in the carousel (a lower weight means the feature will appear closer to first in the beginning of the carousel cycleorder of promos.)

  • You can leave the “Generate automatic URL alias” box checked

  • When your feature promo is ready to save, click the Save button
