All telephone numbers and email addresses should be made into actionable links.

Actionable Link Icon:

Create an Actionable Telephone Number Link:

• Select the number and click on the link icon in the text editor toolbar.

• Type out “tel:” and then the number.

• Please note that all phone numbers should be in the format XXX-XXX-XXXX.

Create an Actionable Email Address Link:

• Highlight the address and click on the link icon in the text editor toolbar.

• Type out “mailto:” and then the email address.

Create a Relative Link:

All links to content hosted on the same site should be made into relative links that do not include the domain.

• Select the text to link and click on the link icon in the text editor toolbar.

• Copy the URL of the page to be linked to and paste it into the Add Linkpopup.

• Erase the domain and leave only the relative path.

The full URL of the Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention page on the district site: https://district.maricopa.edu/consumer-information/alcohol-drug-abuse-prevention

The relative link: /consumer-information/alcohol-drug-abuse-prevention
