From top to bottom, the first element on the homepage is the Frontpage feature. This is the carousel that runs in the home page homepage banner.

Instructions

  • Go to Content > Create content > Frontpage Feature

  • Add a Title, which can be a marketing-focused phrase and include a CTA; the Title can also be informative, but it should be a phrase rather than one word

  • Upload an Image

The URL can be internal or external, depending on what is needed, but there should only be one link listed per feature. An example of an external link would be using Find a Class when you promote registration for an upcoming term.

  • If necessary, set Set the Display Date, which controls when the feature will display on the homepage

  • The Weight dictates the order your feature will appear in the carousel (a lower weight means the feature will appear closer to the beginning of the carousel cycle)

  • You can leave the “Generate automatic URL alias” box checked

  • When your feature is ready to save, click the Save button
