There are three general roles in the Common Framework. Your access is determined by your role within MCCCD and your level of training with the ITS Web Team.
Role | Description | Access |

Content Editor | Content Editor is the most basic role available in the Common Framework. Content editors can edit existing content. | Content Editor is the default role for people outside of Marketing and IT. |
Marketer | Marketers can create and edit most content. | Marketer is the default role for Marketing people. |
Developer | Developers can create advanced content that generally requires theme changes. They can also administer content and views. | Developer is generally restricted to IT people / people with the knowledge and experience to understand the potential impacts of administering advanced features in the Common Framework. |

Curriculum | The Curriculum role can publish and delete awards from the Degrees and Certificates section of the Common Framework. | This role should ideally be assigned to someone knowledgeable about the individual awards offered at your college. |
MEMS | MEMS stands for Maricopa Emergency Management System. The MEMS role can publish MEMS alerts that appear at the top of each page site-wide. | This role should ideally be assigned to someone responsible for communicating about public safety concerns at your collegerole’s permissions have been added to the Marketing role. |
Webforms | The Webforms role is used to build and manage webforms. | This role should ideally be assigned to someone responsible for webforms. |
