Instructions

...

  • Go to Content > Create Content > Announcements

  • Give the announcement a memorable Title

Info

The Title will not display on top announcements, so it is a good practice to give it a memorable title that is relevant to the page where it will reside. The Title will display on bottom announcements.

  • Assign the Announcement to a Section

Info

The Section is related to an already-established taxonomy term. Your announcement will only appear on the Section Front Page associated with that taxonomy term.

  • Provide the Body text of the announcement

  • Select the Display Date

Info

The Display Date dictates when the announcement(s) will appear and disappear.

  • Choose the Location where you would like the announcement to appear

Info

Top Announcements appear above the content of the page, while Bottom Announcements appear beneath. You can only add one Top Announcement, while you can add multiple Bottom Announcements. The most recently created BottomAnnouncement will appear first in accordion format. No more than three BottomAnnouncements are recommended.
