Top Announcement blocks are placed using section taxonomy. You can have one top Announcement per pageSection Front Page. You can also set its start and end dates. See the bottom of this page for examples of bottom Announcements. Bottom Announcement blocks are also placed using section taxonomy. You can have multiple bottom Announcement per pageSection Front Page, though no more than 2-3 are recommended. Like top Top Announcements, you can also set start and end dates. The announcement with the more recent start date will display first.

  • Go to Content > Create Content > Announcements

  • Give the announcement a memorable Title

The Title will not display on the announcementtop announcements, so it is a good practice to give it a memorable title that is relevant to the page where it will reside. The Title will display on bottom announcements.

  • Assign the Announcement to a Section

  • Choose the Location where you would like the announcement to appear

Top announcements Announcements appear above the content of the page where the announcement will appear, while Bottom announcements will Announcements appear beneath. You can only add One top announcement one Top Announcement, while you can add multiple Bottom announcementsAnnouncements. The most recently created Bottomannouncement Announcement will appear first in accordion format. No more than three Bottomannouncements Announcements are recommended.
