Location

The Location content type is a page that provides functionality for campus maps. Features include Google map embedding, contact fields, map file links, and custom accordions.

Instructions

Building a Location Page

  • Go to Content > Create Content > Location

  • Enter a Title

  • Select a Location type

If the Location type field does not have any options, a Location type needs to be created first.

You can add or edit options for this field in the taxonomy. These options are only available for the Developer, and Webmaster .

  • Go to Structure > Taxonomy > Location Types

  • Use the + Add term link to add options – provide only the Name field for the new option

  • Click the Edit link for the Location Type term listed to update an existing term

  • Address, Phone, and Fax are optional fields

  • If you would like to include text on this page, enter it into the Body field

  • Banner Image is also optional

Image size must be 1600x225 px.

  • If you would like an embedded map to display on the page, enter its Google src attribute URL in the Map embed src field

  • Inside the Maps section, you can create a a list of links contained in an accordion style container; to create this, enter the link title in Title and provide a URL

  • The Hours field another accordion-formatted field

  • If you would like additional accordions on the page, use the Accordions section

  • When you are done, select Save
