Frontpage Promo

The boxes of content that appear under the top banner on your homepage are called Frontpage Promos. Similar to the Frontpage Features, the promos include an image, title, and blurb, but everything appears much smaller on the page.

Instructions

  • Go to Content > Add content > Frontpage Promo

  • Add a Title

  • Add a Teaser

The title can be a word or short phrase. The teaser is limited to 255 characters, so you will need to keep the blurb brief.

  • Upload an Image

The image size must be 200px x 100px. The size can be no larger than 256 mb and must be in .png, .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg format.

  • You must provide Alternative text for your image

  • Add your URL

The URL can be internal or external, depending on what is needed, but there should only be one link listed per promo. An example of an external link would be using Find a Class when you promote registration for an upcoming term.

  • Set the Display Date, which controls when the promo will display on the homepage

  • Set the weight, which also control the order. The weight is used to control ‘first’ too ‘last’ order.

  • When your promo is ready to save, click the Save button
