Go to Content > Create Content > File
Give your file a Title
Select Browse and locate your file on your computer
Click Upload
If necessary, provide a Description of your file
Click Save
To obtain get the html code info needed to embed your file, go to Content > File
...

Go to /admin/content/files on your site
Find your recently uploaded file and copy the Embed Link
Select Edit on the page where you would like the file to appear and, in the Body field, paste the embed code.
Click Save
