The WYSIWYG in the Common Framework does not offer the ability to add files. However, sometimes you might need to link to a file in a page’s body field. This is where the File content type can assist you.

Instructions

  • Go to Content > Create Content > File

  • Give your file a Title

  • Select Browse and locate your file on your computer

  • Click Upload

  • If necessary, provide a Description of your file

  • Click Save

To obtain the html code to embed your file, go to Content > File

  • There you will see a list of all files upload to the site. Find the file you want and copy the link from the ‘embed link’ column.
