Many colleges use News to promote local college stories intended for a public audience. The most recent three News items you’ve created will also populate your college’s homepage.

See an example of this content type

  • Go to Content > Create Content > News

  • Give the news story a Title

  • Assign the event to a Section

This section is connected to a taxonomy term and should be set to Events.

  • Select a News Category

  • Under Published Date, enter Date and Time

  • Under News Teaser Image, select a file you would like to appear on your college website’s homepage

Your image must be between 722x380 px and 1170x600 px.

  • You must provide a Alternative text for your image

  • If you would also like to include an image in the news story, add this under News image

Your image must be between 420x420 px and 640x480 px.

  • You must provide a Alternative text and title for your image

  • If there are additional links associated with your news article, provide them in the Related Links section

  • Click Save
