Landing Pages have enhanced functionality to help you build beautiful web contentThe Front Page is the content type used to build your website’s front page. You will only have one of these on your website, so you can only ‘edit’ the one that already exists. There are many layout options available (called paragraph bundles) to help you create a dynamic webpagespage. This content type is generally used to promote marketing campaigns and generate user engagementpage also has the options to add the front page feature and choice to use the front page promo.

Editing the Front Page

  • Go to Content > Create Content > Landing Page

  • Give your Landing Page a Title

  • Assign the Landing Page to a Section

Info

The Section is related to an already-established taxonomy term. Landing pages, however, do not use taxonomy heroes, menus, contact blocks, related resources, or sidebar blocks, so this field is largely symbolic.

Hero

  • To add a hero image (and replace the banner image if exists), use ‘add hero’ (link)

Paragraphs

  • Use Landing Page Builder to add paragraphs to the page (link)

Finish

  • Customize URL or make section front page (link)

  • Revision (link)and use the filter criteria to specify the Front page content type and select the filter button. You may then edit the Front page by selecting the edit option under the operations column heading. Alternatively, navigate to the homepage of your site and select the Edit shortcut option, listed below the Front page features and Front page promos.

  • When editing the Front page, use the feature checkbox to activate and display or deactivate and hide the Front page Feature Carousel, which displays at the top of the site homepage/front-page.

Front page Promo dropdown

  • When editing the Front page, use the Front page Promo dropdown to toggle between the CFW2 and CFW3 Front page Promo display options. When the CFW2 option is selected, navigation shortcuts are displayed on the left, followed by a list of the Front page Promos. When the CFW3 option is selected, navigation shortcuts are displayed at the top above the list of Front page Promos.

  • Use the Paragraph Builder to complete the design of the Front page

  • If you would like to track the differences between versions of the Front page, select the Create new revision checkbox prior to saving the latest version.

Revisions will allow you to track differences between multiple versions of your content, and revert to older versions.
