New programs that do not offer awards can be created at the college level. These program pages will only display on your college site (not maricopa.edu). A custom program is one that only exists on a college website. They do not map directly to an official award. Such programs will appear with an asterisk that indicates they do not offer an award, and they are designed for personal and professional enrichment.
It is recommended that you create very few of these unofficial programs so that you do not take away from the formal programs offered by your college.
Adding a new custom program
Go to Content > Programs > Add program
Enter the program Title. Ensure Maricopa Community Colleges does not already offer a program with the same name.

Use the same steps as modifying a regular program page.
