The main menu lives at the top of your website – on the header – and consists of primary and secondary links.

To add a menu item to your primary links, complete the following steps:

  • In the admin menu, click Structure > Menus > Main navigation

  • Select Add Link

  • Provide a Menu Link Title

The Title you provide here will display in the main menu as-is.

  • In the Link field, enter the URL for the page you want to link

If linking internally to your college’s Drupal site, the path should be url/child-page/etc (do not include https://drupal.maricopa.edu/, for example).

  • If you need the link to open in a new window, expand the Attributes accordion and set the Target to New window (_blank)

  • [Optional] In the Description field, enter a description that tells where the link goes. This is the text that appears when visitors place the cursor over the link

  • Click Save

  • In the Main navigation list of links, reorder your link using

  • Click Save again once reordered

  • No labels
