Event Locations

Many colleges use events to promote local activities intended for a public audience. Occasionally, a college might want to inform their users whether an event is online, in-person, or hybrid. Below, we explain how to add an "Event Location" taxonomy term in Drupal to address this need.

Instructions

• Go to Structure > Taxonomy > Event Locations > List terms

  

• Click Add term

• Give the term a name. Example (Online, In-Person, Hybrid)

• Uncheck Generate automatic URL alias

• Give the term a URL alias. Example /events/location/online

• Check Generate automatic URL alias

• Click Save
