Frontpage Feature

From top to bottom, the first element on the homepage is the Frontpage feature. This is the carousel that runs in the homepage banner.

Instructions

  • Go to Content > Add content > Frontpage Feature

  • Add a Title, which can be a marketing-focused phrase and include a CTA; the Title can also be informative, but it should be a phrase rather than one word

  • Upload an Image

The image size must be 1200px x 450px. There should be room on either side of the image for text and the scroll arrows. The size can be no larger than 256 mb and must be in .png, .gif, .jpg, or .jpeg format.

  • Add a Teaser, which should be a quick blurb that gets users interested in clicking on the link

  • Under Link, add a Title and URL

The URL can be internal or external, depending on what is needed, but there should only be one link listed per feature. An example of an external link would be using Find a Class when you promote registration for an upcoming term.

  • Set the Display Date, which controls when the feature will display on the homepage

  • When your feature is ready to save, click the Save button
