Many colleges use News to promote local college stories intended for a public audience. The most recent three News items you’ve created will also populate your college’s homepage.

Instructions

Go to Content > Add Content > News
Give the news story a Title
Assign the event to a Section

This section is connected to a taxonomy term and should be set to Events.

Select a News Category
Under Published Date, enter Date and Time
Under News Teaser Image, select a file you would like to appear on your college website’s homepage

Your image must be between 722x380 px and 1170x600 px.

You must provide a Alternative text for your image
If you would also like to include an image in the news story, add this under News image

Your image must be between 420x420 px and 640x480 px.

You must provide a Alternative text and title for your image
If there are additional links associated with your news article, provide them in the Related Links section
Click Save
