Landing Pages have enhanced functionality to help you build beautiful web content. There are many layout options available (called paragraph bundles) to help you create dynamic webpages. This content type is generally used to promote marketing campaigns and generate user engagement.

Landing Pages are not built to replace Section Front Pages. You cannot add Announcement, Contact Info, Related Resources, Sidebar Block , or menus to Landing Pages. Landing Pages are designed to be full-width (no sidebars).


Instructions

Creating a Landing Page

  • Go to Content > Create Content > Landing Page

  • Give your Landing Page a Title

  • Assign the Landing Page to a Section

The Section is related to an already-established taxonomy term. Landing pages, however, do not use taxonomy heroes, menus, contact blocks, related resources, or sidebar blocks, so this field is largely symbolic.

  • Select Browse or Choose File under Hero Image and locate the file on your computer to Upload

Images must be between 1200x350 and 1600x350 px.

  • In the Landing Page Builder section of the page, select the paragraph bundle(s) you would like to use to build your page (see below)

To rearrange the paragraph elements of your page, use the drag and drop arrows to the left of the paragraph block.

  • Click Save

Adding Image and Text Block

  • Select the button labeled Add Image and Text Block

  • Under Image, choose an image from your computer and Upload

  • If desired, give the paragraph block a Title

  • Add your content to the Body field

  • Under Layout, choose whether you want the image to appear to the Left or Right of the content

Adding Image and CTA

  • Select the button labeled Add Image and CTA

  • Under Image, choose an image from your computer and Upload

  • If desired, give the paragraph block a Title

  • If desired, add your content to the Body field

  • In the Button section, provide a button Title and URL

  • Under Layout, choose whether you want the image to appear to the Left or Right of the content

Adding Image and Stat Block

  • Select the button labeled Add Image and Stat Block

  • Under Image, choose an image from your computer and Upload

  • In the Statistic field, enter the number that will represent your statistic

  • In the Body field, you can provide more detail about this statistic

  • Under Layout, choose whether you want the image to appear to the Left or Right of the content

Adding Text with Optional Title

  • Select the button labeled Add Text (optional title)

  • If desired, give the paragraph block a Title

  • Add your content to the Text field

Adding a Card Set

  • Select the button labeled Add Card Set

  • If desired, give the paragraph block a Title

  • Select the Number of Columns your cards will use (i.e., how many cards will appear in the row)

While you have the ability to add an unlimited number of cards to a row, no more than four are recommended due to responsiveness and general design best practices.

  • Deselect the radio box Add Card Borders if you would not like borders around your cards; if you would like borders, leave this box checked

  • Choose whether your Text Alignment will be left-aligned or centered

  • If necessary, set the Icon Height

  • In the Card Builder section, select Add Individual Card

  • If you would like the card to be linked to another page, enter a URL in the Card Link field

  • You can add a graphical element to your card by either uploading an Image or an Icon

  • If you would like your card to have a Title, enter into this field, and, if you would like it to be linked, use the URL field

  • If you would like your card to have a Subtitle, enter into this field, and, if you would like it to be linked, use the URL field

  • Add content as necessary to the Body field

  • If you would like a CTA button in your card, use this field to add a Title and a URL

Adding a Tab Set

  • Select the button labeled Add Tab Set

  • If needed, give the tab set a Title

  • In the Tab Builder section, select Add new Tab

  • Enter the name of the tab in the Tab label field

  • If you would like a Title to display when the tab is selected, enter it into this field

  • If you would like the tab to have a Background image, Upload it in this field

  • Add content as necessary to the Body field

  • If you would like a CTA button in your tab, use this field to add a Title and a URL

While you have the ability to add an unlimited number of tabs to a row, no more than four are recommended due to responsiveness and general design best practices.

Adding a Video and Text Block

  • Select the button labeled Add Video and Text Block

The Video and Text Block is setup to embed a video with an aspect ratio of 16:9. If you choose a video with a different ratio, you may see formatting issues like black bars above and below the video.

  • Enter the URL of the YouTube or Vimeo video into the Video URL field

Enter just the regular video URL, not the embed code URL, the embed version of the URL will be processed automatically.

  • If you would like a Title to display, enter one in the Title field

  • Add your content to the Body field

  • Under Layout, choose whether you want the video to appear to the Left or Right side of the content

Removing an item from the Landing Page Builder

  • Click the Remove button for the item you wish to remove

  • Click the Confirm Deletion button to delete the block, or click the Restore button to cancel

  • Click the Save button
