The Qless Block provides a way to place the current status and wait times for your college’s kiosks in a table format on a page. The information is dynamically fed to the block with each page load or refresh.

Instructions

Creating a Qless Block

You will need your Qless AU token or Qless credentials to create your block:

  • AU token (required) - this is the unique identifier for a specific Qless authorized user.

  • Qless Credentials (required if the AU token is unknown) -  With Qless credentials the user can retrieve the AU token for use with the block.

If you do not have Qless credentials contact your college Qless administrator for access.

Qless Block Configuration (Part 1)

Go to Configuration > System > Qless Block Settings

Qless Access Token Value

  • Paste in your Qless AU Token: The Qless AU token generated from Qless credentials.

If you do not know the AU token and have Qless credentials you can retrieve the token by clicking on the Qless AU token click here link on the Qless Block Settings page.

Enter Qless Display Column Labels

  • Department Label: The label assigned to the department column. 

  • Status Label: The label assigned to the status column.

  • Wait Time Label: The label assigned to the Wait Time column.

  • Number In Line label: The label assigned to the number in line.

Qless Page Content (Part 2)The Qless module creates a block for each page

  • Under Content > Add Content > Qless Page

  • Add a basic title (it can be changed in a later step)

  • Add the location id for the kiosk you want to display

Setting the Qless Block into a region (Part 3)

  • Go to Structure > Block Layout

  • Select the block region you want the Qless Block to appear in and click Place Block

  • Scroll down the list of blocks and locate the Qless Block

  • Click Place Block

  • In the Title field enter the title that will be shown on the page OR uncheck the display title checkbox

  • Select the Content Type you want the block to appear on

  • Select Pages from the left menu and set the pages you want the block to appear on
