Qless Info Block

The Qless Info Block provides a way to place the current status and wait times for your college’s kiosks in a table format on a page. The information is dynamically fed to the block with each page load or refresh.

Instructions

Creating a Qless Info Block

You will need your Qless AU token or Qless credentials to create your block:

  • AU token (required) - this is the unique identifier for a specific Qless authorized user.

  • Qless Credentials (required if the AU token is unknown) -  With Qless credentials the user can retrieve the AU token for use with the block.

If you do not have Qless credentials contact your college Qless administrator for access.

Basic Block Structure (Part 1)

  • Go to Structure > Blocks > Add Qless Info Block

  • Add a Block Title if desired. This will display on the page above the form

Entering Kiosk Values

  • Location Title: The Qless location title. (Displayed only in the list of blocks)

  • Location Code: The Qless location code for your college location.

  • Qless AU Token: The Qless AU token generated from Qless credentials.

If you do not know the AU token and have Qless credentials you can retrieve the token by going to Configuration > User Interface > Qless Access Token

Entering Column Labels

  • Department Label: The label assigned to the department column. The default value is  Department.

  • Status Label: The label assigned to the status column. The default value is Status.

  • Wait Time Label: The label assigned to the Wait Time column. The default value is Est. Wait Time.

  • Number In Line label: The label assigned to the number in line. The default value is # in line.

Basic Block Structure (Part 2)

  • Under Region Settings, set the default theme drop-down to the region you wish the Qless Info Block to appear on the page. We recommend placing the block on a page in one of the content regions. Sidebars are not recommended.

  • Update the Visibility Settings as described in Using Blocks

  • Click Save block

  • Review your site to make sure your new block is appearing only on the intended pages.
